A massive multi-billion-dollar project is underway in LAX, and the Automated People Mover is set to open in early 2026. This free automated monorail system will seamlessly connect
all LAX terminals, Metro stations, and the Consolidated Rent-A-Car facility (ConRAC), making travel in and out of LAX even more convenient. The Automated People Mover will
operate 24 hours a day, with trains arriving every two minutes.
