Entering Saudi Arabia for the First Time:

Traveling with a Schengen, UK, or US Visa/Residency Permit: Make sure this visa/permit is still valid before your trip. It must be a business or tourist visa, not another type. Additionally, it needs a physical entry stamp from the issuing country (digital stamps are not accepted).

Returning to Saudi Arabia:

Previously Entered with this Visa: If you've already used this Saudi visit visa to enter Saudi Arabia and it's still valid, you don't need to check the validity of your Schengen, UK, or US visa/residency permit.

For All Visitors:

Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least six months after you enter Saudi Arabia.

Getting a Visa on Arrival in Saudi Arabia At the Airport:

When you arrive in Saudi Arabia, you can apply for a visa on arrival using the self-service kiosks or by visiting the passport control office.

Who is Eligible?

U.S., U.K., or Schengen Visa Holders: You can qualify if:

  • You hold a valid business or tourist visa.
  • The visa has been used at least once with a physical entry stamp (digital stamps are not accepted).
  • Your passport is valid for at least six months after your entry into Saudi Arabia.

Residents of U.K., U.S., or EU: You can qualify if:

  • You have a permanent residence permit from one of these regions.
  • Your passport is valid for at least six months after your entry into Saudi Arabia..

Important Notes:

A visa on arrival allows any type of travel, including Umrah. However, remember to book your Umrah appointment through the Nusuk platform beforehand.

Planning a layover in Saudi Arabia? A transit/stopover visa lets you turn your wait into an adventure! With this visa, you can:

Important Note for Religious Travelers:

If you plan to visit Makkah or Madinah for religious purposes (Umrah or Ziyarah), you must schedule an appointment through the Nusuk.sa platform before your trip.

Information:
  • To apply for a Saudi visa, you must hold a valid residency visa from a GCC country.
  • This residency visa needs to be valid for at least three months beyond your planned entry date into Saudi Arabia.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months after you enter Saudi Arabia.
  • Traveling with Minors (Under 18)
  • If you're traveling with children under 18, their parent (or legal guardian) must first apply for an eVisa on their behalf.
Umrah Note:

Regardless of visa type, you can perform Umrah while in Saudi Arabia. Remember to book your Umrah appointment beforehand through the Nusuk platform.

2. Transit Visa/Visa on Arrival

Transit/Stopover Visa: Ideal for layovers, this visa lets you explore Saudi Arabia during your connection, including performing Umrah, visiting religious sites, or enjoying tourist attractions. Remember, religious travelers must book appointments through Nusuk.sa for Umrah or Ziyarah in Makkah or Madinah.

Validity 90 Days
  • Travelers must be at least 18 years old to enter Saudi Arabia on their own.
  • Minors (under 18) can enter only if accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or adult sibling (over 18 years old).
  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned entry date into Saudi Arabia.
Tasheer Visa Requirements:

In addition to the above, if you're applying for an Embassy/Consulate/Tasheer visa, you'll need to provide:

  • Documentation verifying your residency in the country you're applying from.
  • Confirmation of your return flight out of Saudi Arabia.
  • Verification of your current employment status.
  • Bank statements or documents demonstrating sufficient funds for your stay.
  • A detailed plan of your travel arrangements within Saudi Arabia.
  • A copy of your passport or other valid ID.
  • Information about where you'll be staying in Saudi Arabia.
